    How true Don....I just finished a good fuel burn check on VMU.....2.9 Imp Gals/hr cruising at 80 mph. Compare that with the 38 gph showing on the C-185 ..on t/o..that I have been flying this summer..( ocassionally )....in cruise, you can lean it out to 18 gph.
