    From The Picton Gazette....Thurs., Oct. 15th.<br /><br />TWO RESCUED FROM LAKE ONTARIO<br />Two people were taken by helicopter to Belleville hospital after hitting a reef off Prince Edward Point. The rescue center at Trenton dispatched one helicopter and two coast guard vessels after recieving the distress call. The 26' yacht was on it's side and taking on water.The incident occured in 25 kt winds and the waves were 2 meters. The two people were not visibly injured, just hypothemic.<br /><br />Lynn and I drove there yesterday....the point of impact and the current resting place are 5 miles apart.It was quite a wind on Sunday.....Monday...and Tuesday...that's why the Gaggle fell apart. As mentioned in a previous posting....this area is known as ' The graveyard of Lake Ontario '
