Description: Well, it ain't no Dan Nickens or John Spratt picture (actually it was taken with my cell phone), but here's a shot of Lake Norman this morning at 8:30 am. Some serious great flying weather!

    Wow, Whatever you used, great shot!<br /><br />One morning I was leaving GSP at some ungodly hour of the morning. As we headed north, the fog looked like it was poured into the valleys, leaving the old, rounded mountain tops poking through the mist. With the sun starting to rise over the horizon, it looked absolutely spectacular. NC is a beautiful state.

    Very true Dennis, but for the out of towners who care, for clarification, GSP (Greer or Greenville Spartanburg) is in <br />SC.

    I spent a lot of time in the area. GSP airport is about as far north in SC as you can get, so when you take off and head north, you're over NC almost immediately. But you knew that! The company I work for is headquatered in Duncan, SC and I have freinds in Greer that I visit. More often I'll take a direct flight into Charlotte and drive down to wherever I'm going.
