Description: My neighbor's grandson has gone from being afraid of the plane to fanatic. He loves watching our videos -- I made one for him as SeaReytech on YouTube the other day -- and today asked Granddad to bring him to my hangar to sit in the plane.

I think we have a convert...

Great pic Andy, I love the ones with kids and planes!

Interesting addition of the corner bracket to the canopy slider - certainly will make it stronger. I notice the ground wire on the vertical pylon post - the frame makes a poor ground point as it's not welded - many find better success with a common ground bus. What are the yellow covers on the sidewalls?
Oh - happy looking kid!

    Very observant, Ken.

The lightweight brackets replace clunky and prop-killing knobs. Plus, they keep the plexi from cracking.

I agree the grounding wire is poorly located, it's been changed with a re-wiring to run my avionics through a Smoothie Brickwall filter. It had been placed there for the bilge pump, worked fine. I pulled it for asthetics, really.

The tube covers are easy: sew a tube of Sunbrella or other hvy fabric, turn it inside out, pop loose the tube, closed-cell foam pipe insulator over it, wriggle on the cover... It's a snap.
