Wow, that is nice. but it looks like it might be a little tight getting it in there in a cross wind. I have trouble just hitting my ramp with a strong cross wind.

Maules have pretty good control on the water with those big water rudders-But, I am not the one to ask...Dan would know. This guy probably has a spot to tie down on the beach if it's too windy

Haven't missed my tiny ramp once, Daniel, with the Maule. I'm not saying with the SeaRey.

Now John you know that all the incidents that have happened at Dan's ramp have occured only because you have been trying to avoid the resident Gator that suns himself on the ramp.

Wow, that is a floating dock with a roof. I never thougt you could do that. Did he do that because their is not enough yard to park in?

It's beautiful but notice the supports for the roof are pretty tiny. I've seen some every-day Florida storms that might imperil that structure.

Ken, This is on the warm side. It never freezes and averages 14 degrees warmer than the water on the cold side year round.

This lake is in the central area of Virginia, not quite Florida but definately not Canada weather either. I just drive it up the ramp, pick up the tail, spin it around and drive it back down the ramp. I have a winch for it just in case I need to winch it in backwards but use it to pull my jet ski in for the winter instead.

Rick,<br />Yes, I just drive up the ramp, hope the brakes aren't too wet to stop before the back wall, then shut down. I leave it face in most of the time after flying for an additional layer of security. Anybody wanting to take it will have to figure out how to turn it around on their own. Simply, I just pick up the tail and walk it around. The tough part is to keep from hitting or tripping over the junk that seems to accumulate in a hangar. The hangar is 36' deep and 42' wide, which gives you about 40' of width (minus a healthy junk factor)to turn in. Its an engineered building from Miracle Steel that I built on pilings in a couple of feet of water.

Hey Tom, Bill doesn't have that problem. He has a near by nuclear reactor to keep the water warm. Hey Bill, what is your water temperature now? Our water temperature is 37°F and I am south of you.

Sad news Daniel, sorry to hear this. I was out twice on Christmas day flying, once with Lou Ann's sister in my ray and then doing loops in a Christian Eagle with a friend. We just don't know what tomorrow will bring but we can live it while we can. I hope Julies not hurt bad physically but I know she's got a rough time ahead. Bless them and their family and friends.
