Description: At 6,000 on autopilot and an IFR flight plan, Greg had the Cirrus set the mixture for lean of peak. That slowed us to a bit less than 140 knots, but burned only 8.5 gph. So we were getting roughly the same miles per gallon as my SeaRey, but at twice the speed.
