That's the lockwood aircam. Designed originally for taking movies for National Geographic over the jungle. Never seen it before with 3 seats.

There is a flight instructor in Winter Haven (Richard Johnson) that has an amphib aircam. I usually get my flight review in the aircam with him. It is the most fun that you can have in an airplane. It is also good to know that it will fly very well on one engine if the other happens to fail.

Bruno, If you could find a used amphib, which are very rare to find. The cost would be probably be in the neighborhood of 150K. I was thinking of buying one a few years back but the price tag and the fact that it wouldn't even come close to fitting in my hangar stopped me. These things are hugh when they are on amphib floats, more than 12' from the floor to the top of the tail. They seem happiest at flying around 70mph. They will fly as fast as a Searey if you need to, but you are using twice as much fuel. They are great fun, but alot of money.

On the island of Roatan off the Honduras coast is a green Aircam that flies around, I saw it a few times while Lou Ann and I were diving at Anthonys Key resort. It belongs to a island bum/ rich real estate developer. I demoed Skip Doneys yellow SeaRey for him when he saw in trade a plane and flew to the US to see if it was suitable for island life. After the demo ride he said he like the plane but was worried the gear might not be suitable for the dirt runway on the small island in the bay he lives in on the southeast end of the island of Roatan.
