Can you thermal very long on a good day ?

I rarely get thermal activity Joe. I did, however, see some good thermals in one flight last Sunday. Here is the elevation profile of that flight captured by my wrist mount Garmin. Between 6 and 8 minutes, I actually gained altitude. Between 6:28 and 6:40 (12 seconds) I went up 85 feet. Sure wish I could have stayed in that one for a while. I am thinking about getting a variometer.
<!-- >'">
' or > missing in user HTML. Splashing and dashing within 90' of a boat, eh? I like the irony.

Irony in deed!! Unregulated flight is a beautiful thing Dan. Too bad we can't do it in the Searey.

Looks like a blast! Why can't you fly the rey?
