Nice sunrise and photo Wayne. Did you land at KEYW or elsewhere?

I landed at KEYW, Frank. Overnight rates...$30...parked me in the front row by the gate...convenient for bringing in the 9 gallons that I burned...(eight on the way back)...the flight was silky smooth both directions...a flawless, beautiful flight! (DVFR required for direct flight...and I had flight following both ways.

Sounds like a terrific trip Wayne, except perhaps for the overnight fee. I assume they don't waive the fee if you buy 100LL for $8/gal (or whatever the price).Never filed DVFR before, I'll need to do some homework. Only time into Key West years ago was VFR along the SW coast and then the Keys down--in a land plane, but with nice scenery along the Keys.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML.     There is some consolation for an early rising: nicely done, Wayne.
