Description: Jamie Krueger called me over to Lake Apopka today while we were splashing around to check out this dead gator that he found. I would say that it was easily 10 feet long! I made the STINKY mistake of landing on the downwind side of this thing! I was gagging for a couple of minutes because of the terrible stench!

when Melanie spotted this guy almost two weeks ago his underside was all white. now his
bottom looks like his top. I am surprised he has lasted so long with so little damage to his
body. He looks ready to explode now.

A .44 bullet would have let all the air out of him a week ago so the the bottom critters would
have taken care of him in a couple days. But that is from Alaska where we are required to
carry guns in our airplanes for safety reasons and can carry guns concealed without a
permit anywhere in the state. I love Alaska!

Can you guys like carry a gun anytime you want to in Florida?

Not any time, any where, but many times/places. Federal property, school campus' are a no-no.
The problem is, the drivers are so aggressive, if you carry, you might be tempted to use! And since there are more idiot drivers in FL than the number of bullets I can afford, it's not worth starting.

Hey Greg, we were out flying a couple of weekends ago around Lake Apopka. I am not sure if this it a picture of your gator, but we found one on the South side of the lake floating in the weeds. Attachments:
