Jamie I certainly prefer the flying to the building however there certainly is a great sense of achievement building and flying your own aircraft and the places you can go compared to a non amphibian is incredible. Nothing like a bit of step taxiing then plough taxiing through the middle of a town waving to the locals...... priceless. Keep working towards the end goal as a lot of the time you think that you are never going to make it but then suddenly there you are.
