Description: The original Mount Trashmore is in Virginai Beach. It's a public park now. The Commonwealth of Virginia has been importing trash from New York City and other urban areas for decades. Some of it is probably buried here.

    It's southeast of New Kent County Airport, Scott. East of 609 and south of 631. You can see it in GoogleMaps and G. Earth.

    I remember driving the 2 hours southbound on I-95 from DC area just to hang glide off of Mt. Trashmore 1. I was a perfect training site back in 1975 and one the municipalities hadn't declared off limits.
