Nice SeaRey ramp on a calm day! If this photo were on STS, I'd inquire about the mysterious aluminum brackets on the wings, at the juncture of flap and aileron, and would propose a hypothesis.

If this were on STS, I'd reply folding wings or aircraft hoist.

Which reminds me: Last week the Richmond VA PBS TV station broadcast an episode of 'The Aviators' (repeated yesterday) in which there's a nice segment about SeaRey that includes shots taken at SnF or Oshkosh showing the starboard wing folded. Unfortunately, the producers surrounded it with promotional footage of Icon looking cool, as if it were ready for prime time.

    Not the latter. See Photos&p=SZPVY0000

It would be delightful if Dan would post those photos on STS, so we could talk about how to hoist a SeaRey and how to keep the wings folded. I haven't been able to find the hoist and fold kits in the SeaRey Store yet.

Stand by to be amazed, mate. I expect I'll have an unusual view for STS in the next few days. Everyone else will have to wait for the Sebring show in January.
