So that's what the ball looks like. It seldom passes through the cockpit when I fly !!!

When I was learning how to fly my Citabria after many years in Cherokees the ball was on my mind a lot until a wise old military jet jockey friend, who also owned a Champ, told me not to worry about the ball so much, you will know when it feels right, for him, the only time it was in the middle when it was on its way from one side to the other!

Wayne, what's the deal on the breakfasts? Does someone there host a fly-in type affair? There are a couple that do that sort of thing around the Sanford area: Dunn airport, of course, on the first Saturday of each month and Cedar Knoll (private) on the third Saturday of each month, I believe. Both are nice and provide another excuse to go flying.

My son and I enjoy picking places for breakfast,.. Florida mornings are udually perfect for flying...it gets us going early...quality sitting around and talking time...we have been doing it since he was 4...he is 28 now with a son due in March...another generation of pilot on the way!

My last to Venice the Cafe in the terminal building was closed. Explains why I
didn't smell the breakfast on final. Glad to hear they are open for the winter
season.
