I as actually around 300 ft , Jon...probably a little low for such slow flight but the plane was flying steady in the constant wind coming off the water north of Pine Island...The FUN part of the day was doing a touch and go at Pine Island airport on 27 with strong winds at 320 degrees.

I thought they were charging $20 to land at Pine Island these days, but with a touch and go <br />it might be hard to collect.

Wayne Reed owns the airport, Frank. He is trying to eek out a living since Hurricane Charlie blew away most of his hangers that he rented. I kept my 2 BUCs there for years...Since I don't know how to attach a picture to this post, I'll add a photo of my hanger at the Pine Island Airport right after Hurricane Charlie...(I would appreciate someone to explain to me how I would attach a picture to a post like ths???)
