I think this shirt is in poor taste. Many people lost their planes and some even got hurt. Not cool.

Matt,

I can understand your feelings. I worked in Sun and Fun Air Ops from Tuesday-Saturday and saw the carnage first hand. When we evacuated the Ops shack our car just missed the DC-3 that broke loose, the car behind us almost got run over by it. Considering that an EF1 tornado went right through the middle of the ramp I consider it extremely fortunate that there were only 7 injuries, and tragic that there were over 20 aircraft lost.

I'm more pissed that in the aftermath of the tornado looting on the ramp was going on. I know of a Cherokee 6 that had it's entire radio stack stolen and have heard rumors of other looting.

I don't have any other answers. I will tell you that many of us in Air Ops bought the t-shirt.

Respectfully,

Steve

Black humor from someone outside of the geriatric set? I love it.

I love the shirt, I think it is more because I was there to experience it and rode it out in a pickup truck. If I could have found it on Saturday I would have bought one. I know it is sad that planes were lost and people were hurt in the incident but it could have been a lot worse too. I didn't hear about the looting that was going on either, Tom and I tried to get back to his searey at the viking booth but was told to leave the area but saw people still walking around the area. So I can see people doing it and it is sad.
