    This is a GREAT place to fly into- if you want to do absolutely nothing for a while. It is the next key just south of FMY beach. Lot's of folks beach their boats and enjoy the perfect, desolate sand. One of the few areas left alone on the west coast. The picture doesn't show the beach area like where the plane is pointed towards but trust me, it's beautiful. Good post Wayne...

    I used to land my Buc on the Gulf side and anchored near the boats ...I previously landed a Rotec Rally on Floats in one of the lagoons...not a good idea!<br />Here's a better picture of the stretch of beach...      Attachments:
