Description: Nothing quite like finding a quiet spit of sand to sit and wait for the boat. But you do have to pay attention. If you don’t you may find you have to swim out and retrieve your SeaRey. I’ve done it enough times that I’m an expert at SeaRey salvaging (or retarded enough to expect that it won’t float away…again).

Apparently a dog owns this boat and likes sailing it around Martha’s Vineyard.      Attachments:

According to the fine print, Charlie...this was last year. And I'll bet you don't read the manuals either!

In Florida. I'll be up your way soon....if the SeaRey winds blow just right. How about lunch at Katama?

Sometimes it can a bit rough for little boats out on the Nantucket Sound. I didn’t plan to try it in a SeaRey.      Attachments:

Did the Pilgrim beach babes lounge on this beach? It was cool enough they could use those long gowns to good effect.      Attachments:

A midnight call said to pick up a passenger at one of the busy Long Island airports. Fine. But that meant an o’dark thirty departure, scaling Taunton’s locked fence, fueling issues, fog, maneuvering around a VP restricted area, and fighting a huge headwind. Then the passenger called in sick....after I landed. It’s all worthwhile when you see another beautiful day dawn.      Attachments:

Another SeaRey sand spit siren? It was hard to decide with a nice little grass strip on the island. Since I didn't have an invitation to the private island, the spit was the safer choice.      Attachments:

Lots of blocks on the beach at Block Island. The light house is located on Mohegan Bluffs, near the town of New Shoreham. Apparently the shoals are pretty hazardous as Block Island was once referred to as the Stumbling Block of the northeast coast. The lighthouse was built on the southeast coast in 1875 after “dozens” of ships ran afoul of the shoals.      Attachments:
