The C-180 at the dock belongs to a friend from Montreal. I flew an hour in her the next day and got my recurrent done on floats. The plan is to buy a 'block' of time on a Hawk or C-180 and continue water flying..in the years to come.

    It's a sad story, Dave--but the next chapter promises to be uplifting, both for Steve and his new SeaRey and for you and Lynn as well. I'm glad that Turtle Cove will continue on as my favorite Canadian seaplane base!
