The no wave zone makes for super smooth cruising. A ’68 Caddy’s got nothing on this ride.      Attachments:

When the waves are glassy smooth, you know they are ready to bite unsuspecting seaplaners. It’s best to keep a respectful distance.      Attachments:

Dan - since this is SND, I'm posting the question on the tech site. However, it relates to the smooth wake picture.

Gee, Ken, I don't think the use of a potato gun to make waves is so much of a technical issue. It's more of a terrorist TSA kinda thing (perfect for the Splat and Spud site).<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

The little lake Idamere was glassy too, but there were suspicious wind circles out in the middle. How does that happen? Like a water spout? On a windless day?      Attachments:

Water spray and flashing red lights? Two huge helicopters idling next to the lake? Oh. That’s why there are circles on the water. I slow taxied through them and won’t do that again. Yee haw!      Attachments:

Whaaaaaaat, You flew all that way under pressure to get there in time and did, pack it in a container, and it did not go? So you flew it all the way back? Thats the story we need to hear.

Maybe Adam and Kerry had filed an instrument flight plan, Frank. From my airplane it was all clear and completely visual.

Frank, click on the checkbox for 'Advanced (allow HTML).'

Frank A. Carr - Nov 05,2011   Viewers  | Reply
Doing that Don, deleted (or at least made hid) the attached photo.

Dan Nickens - Nov 05,2011   Viewers  | Reply
Back in pilot school I was told that when something bad happened, try undoing what you just did. I 'Retreated' your 'Advanced' posting, Frank. It's cool with its innovated spacing and symbols. The mirrored picture is a plus too!

Don Maxwell - Nov 05,2011   Viewers  | Reply
Sorry, Frank! I forgot about the photo. It's more complicated to use 'Advanced' when you want a photo in there.

Here's what your original post needs (in addition to checking 'Advanced...'):

<a href="?Photos&p=SZOPJ0000">Photos&p=SZOPJ0000 That's called an absolute address. You could enter that address in the Location box of any browser and see the thumbnail. The 'http://www.myfamily.com/' part isn't needed when the link is already at that main address. What's left is called a relative address. It works only when the link is located on the same Web computer as the image.

The HTML tag for inserting a graphic is: <img src='[filename and location on the web]'>

To help vision-impaired people, you should also insert this before the '>': alt='[identify the content of the photo]' border=0

And, at my age Don, I suppose there'll be a quiz?

Don Maxwell - Nov 06,2011   Viewers  | Reply
No quiz for anyone younger than me, Frank. It wouldn't be fair. The time is long gone when writing HTML was the only way to get anything on the Web.

Dan I knew that dunking that 'weapon camera' would pay dividends one day...... Outstanding shots <br />Mate. But please no more camera dunkings!
