My dream plane. I heard they'll take off from the water single-engine on amphibs.

I usually get part of my flight review done in a Aircam on Clamar
amphib floats in Winter Haven., just for
fun. They are absolutely the most fun that you can have in a airplane. It
feels like you are on a magic
carpet when you are flying it way out in front with nothing around you
but a wind screen. It also makes
you feel pretty good knowing if an engine quits that it will just keep
flying on one and even climb about
300 fpm if you need to. The only problem is how much they cost and
they are slow. You usually cruise
around 70 mph. It will do over 100 if you want to, but then you are
using around 5gph per engine. It just
feels like around 70 is the best speed. If you have not flown one yet, I
would put this at the top of my
bucket list.

What we need is a cross between a searey and an aircam. Have had the drawing on my wall for two
years. If I ever go back for my MS in enginering, this will be my thesis.

Then the gear could be like the cardinal RG - doesn't that do the gear swinging back like dragon legs?
