Description: A nice sandy Florida beach? No, this is 5th Machias lake in Maine, a couple years ago. One of my favorite splashing spots. I'm in SC now, my Stingray is in my hangar in Maine. I miss it.

Mark, It is a nice sandy beach but those pine trees don't look like Florida to me. Now the obvious question: are there 4 other Machias Lakes?<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

Oread

Whirl up, sea—
Whirl your pointed pines,
Splash your great pines
On our rocks,
Hurl your green over us—
Cover us with your pools of fir.

Frank,<br /><br />I also knew the rocks were a dead givaway that it wasn't Florida. I stood on them to get the second shot.<br /><br />Actually, yes there are four others, but this is the nicest. There are no roads leading into it directly, and during the middle of the week, I've spent all day there with absolutely no one else around. On weekends, fishermen will bring their canoes or small boats upstream to the lake, a rather difficult task.<br /><br />
