Description: Took off and 3 miles later landed on Lake Trafford (2nd largest lake in SW Florida...next to HUGE lake Oceechobee) and hunted gators...saw at least 10... then flew to the beach ...up the coast and back to Page Field. Perfectly CLEAR day! And a FUN change of pace!

    What good is a PFD in a lake full of gators?<br /><br />Sounds like a great flight and fun day Wayne, and the Casino picked picked up the tab for <br />gas.<br /><br />I have to find and try Lake Trafford.

    Just set your GPS to IMM and you will fly right over it, Frank...you can get flight following over RSW or skirt the south side and go directly east. Most of the gators are on the south side of the lake for your viewing pleasure!
