Florida has some other strange towns--Celebration, for example.

    House circles?

Would I be correct in presuming that every house has water access to the gulf?

Wayne Nagy - May 14,2012   Viewers  | Reply
NO house has access to the Gulf, Ken! It was originally built for that purpose...but the EPA would not let them connect a short 25 foot canal to the gulf access....lots of extremely upset new home owners...promose not kept...you can idle around in a circle though...

Easily remedied with a little night time demo work...

Or a low level SeaRey bombing run? :-)

Are the canals wide enuff to take off and land a searey?

I use a tool called Google 'Earth'. It has a measuring tool that will give you the size of anything and it's pretty accurate. Most of the canals are between 50 to 70 feet wide, so yes it would be a good Searey landing and takeoff spot.
