Description: On September 1 the radar showed rain everywhere in central Virginia. But at KLKU (Louisa County Airport) there was an airshow, so no rain was allowed to reach the ground. And it didn't.

There was a horrendous--though perfectly smooth--headwind most of the way there from the Richmond area. At one point my best groundspeed was 47 mph. But the wind wasn't allowed at KLKU, either. It abated 8 miles out, so there was no excuse for my lousy three-point landing.
