Of course the best weather of the trip waited until we were back in town! Ah, well, the crew got to enjoy a fog-free day of SeaRey flights. Attachments:

Rose put aside her fears to go for her first seaplane flight. She said it helped that she went to mass first. Attachments:

    Dan
I have very fond memories of shopping at the market by the harbor in Puerto. Mont. I
had bought it for my girlfriend who cherished it. My wife however says that it is heavy
and itchy. So much for familiarity.
I was in Chile doing radar site surveys, from the atacama desert to Puerto mont.
Leaving Wednesday for Nuku Hiva and the rest of the Marquesas, Steve (if the local French-ruled bureaucrats don't stop me!). I hear the islands are fog free!

Looking for Amelia and Fred, Dan? Head maybe 280 from Nuku Hiva, with enough fuel for 2000 nm.

Dan Nickens - Apr 27,2013 Viewers | Reply
Could be fun, Don, but maybe they don't care to be found?

Don Maxwell - Apr 27,2013 Viewers | Reply
Well, I think Amelia is 113 now and Fred is 120. But maybe they're in Shangri-la, instead. They'd still be young there.
