G’day seaplaners, I am in the early stages of planning the circumnavigation of the world’s largest island Australia. Plan so far is to leave Brisbane early April 2014 and take approximately 2 months for the trip. First thing I need is to find is a travelling partner, he or she needs to be light weight!! And travel light, have a great sense of humour or at least laugh at my jokes. Other useful attributes would be able to fly straight and level, have some photography skills, able to share costs or preferably attract a sponsor. The plan is to only do short legs and enjoy this beautiful country. We will be filming the trip to make a documentary similar to the two episodes of Touch and Go we have already produced. There will be at least one other aircraft travelling with us at all time, and we invite anyone else along with a seaplane who wishes to join us for the trip. We have done some fantastic long-distance trips and now feel ready to do the big one.
If you’re keen for an adventure let me know.
I am your man. Very interested and fit all your criteria. My plan was to do a round Australia trip in my
Searey when i finish building it to get my experience up before flying it to Indonesia where it will be
based. Was going to do the trip alone in my plane so sharing the cost in company makes it more fun and
cheaper too.
Just leaving Muscat Oman for maybe a weeks work out in the desert . If you can email me your phone
number (martycorr@hotmail.com) I will call you as soon as I can. Could be tomorrow if I have comms
could be in a week if I don't.

Marty, your locked in. You've ticked all the boxes, except for good-looking female! oh well, I didn't think Cheryl my wife would let me get away with that one anyway. thanks for the phone call.

If anyone's interested there will most likely be a spare seat in a Super Petrel or Lake Buccaneer at this stage.

Thanks Marty I'm sure will have a great time. Will email you a list of exciting places we will visit.

I may not be a good looking female mate but I can arrange a good
looking female co-pilot for a while.
It doesn't take much to get my girlfriend into a Searey she loves them.
Here she is giving the thumbs up and a big Searey smile after a flight
with Rob Loneragan.
Maybe somewhere around Perth she could join us for a few days.
Pretty much half way around so I am guessing middle of the trip time-
wise too.
Having her join us for a while around Perth will smooth the way for me
for the two months away.
Perth is also about the easiest city in Oz for her to get too.

Ok forget the Searey Smile picture... Can't upload for some reason

David, If I can finish the Searey and get some training I will join the group. I did coastal surveillance in the late 70's between Perth and Darwin and between Townsville and The Gulf, it would be great to revisit the coastline.
Regards
Pat
