G'day this is our second attempt to produce something half decent, we still have a long way to go! It is also a bit embarrassing when I managed to break the undercarriage gear driving up the beach. So if you got a spare 30 minutes check it out. If you start getting bored go to the end and check out the bloopers. We have shot this in high definition but have had to reduce it down to 480p for youtube, unfortunately reducing the quality of the scenery shots. Anyway hope you enjoy it.

It really looks wonderful place to travel with a seaplane. Thaks for this video. It's always good to see that some (most) misshaps can be solved on spot, and trip can continue...<br />Good video.

Nice video, David, a definite step up from the first. I envy your beaches, not that we don't have the equivalent in Florida. The differences are walls of high rise condos lining ours, tourists covering them and lots of jet skis blocking our splash down spots. Would Oz like a couple hundred million immigrants from the U.S.?<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or > missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

No thanks we are having enough trouble with a hand full of boat people from Indonesia.

'Synchronized Circuitry'? Brilliant!<br /><br />Marble Island was a spectacular find, David.<br /><br />At the end there is a great demonstration of the utility and safety of a sliding canopy. Who else has documented the dangers of a gas attack in flight? Progressive Aerodyne should talk to you about using it in their advertisements.

Dan it's my favourite bit of the whole episode.... Never realised the extra safety feature of sliding canopy!<br /><br />

Dave, great video also you did a great job putting it all together. I would imagine a lot of time went into editing. Talking about editing. I've been using AVS4You witch is a pretty good editor. The one thing I haven't figure out is how you retain the original quality of the mater copy after you have your video edited and have finalize the edited version and it's ready for upload. this copy seems to have lost some of it's quality. What editing software and format did you use and how did you retain the excellent quality of your video after it was uploaded to YouTube.

Hi Russ, the main programs we use our Adobe Premier, Photo Shop and Illustrator. We actually lost a lot of quality uploading it to you tube as well, would have liked to of rendered the you tube version at 720p at 32 minutes long it would take forever to upload so we rendered it at 480p. The second edition took approximately 72 hours of editing about twice as fast as the first edition, it certainly is a learning curve.

Thanks Dave. I know the GoPro records in a AVI file format and I have found if I just upload the original file unedited file to YouTube there is very little or no quality lose. It's only after it goes through the editing software does it lose some quality. I usually render it back to a AVI format is that what you're doing or do you render it to one of the other formats like MPGE4?

David,<br />I would love to see the HD version. That being said, I am not technically savvy on the whole file protocol <br />thing. If you can provide direction as to how I can access the file, we would love to see episode 2 in HD. <br />My television is a 'Smart TV' and is smarter than I am capable.
