Description: Chuck Cavanaugh and Heather were flying his newly completed SeaRey from Tavaris to New Jersey. Today they stopped at KSFQ (Suffolk, VA) for the self-service 93 octane MOGAS. I was looking for a destination today, so I hopped over to watch, dodging several showers on the way.

And thanks much, Don. Heather was very impressed that you made such an effort. I told her as far as I can tell, most of the SeaRey guys are like this.

We had another great leg to end our trip, BTW. Safely tucked away at 26N.

Always a great strip to visit.... for crosswind practice.
Is that where you are based, Chuck?

I enjoyed meeting you and Heather, Chuck. Glad to see you fly barefoot, too.

And it was a lovely SeaRey day, with nice little rain showers to fly through and around, and gorgeous low but mostly benign clouds. After we left Suffolk I flew WNW to the James River, exploring some lakes that have interested me for years, and then low up the river past the Dead Fleet and Jamestown Island and on up to Tar Bay, where we live. Altogether it was an excellent day.
