June 12th, Russ….seems like just yesterday. Another great <br />flying day today. Went up to <br />'look around' Punta Gorda and the Peace river . I found Mark <br />Futch's house and his <br />plane tucked away in a 'maze' off the Peace River.

I know Frank and I really want to fly with you guys but shit happens, in this case my back went out and I'm just now starting feel good enough to make some trips that I planed on doing. But I screwed up with the registration on my plane while I sick, you have to re-register every three years now and when I got the first notice from the gov I didn't understand what it was telling me. I know I thought I had just registered the plane but come to find out it was in 2009 that I had registered the plane that's how screwed up I was with my back and neck shit. So I didn't take care of it when I should have and they sent me a final notice in Nov, saying my registration had expired and I would have to apply for a new N-number. I called the number on the paper work and the gal said that I could still get it re-registered for five dollars but they were three months behind in getting registration processed and sent back. So now I wait and hopefully I will get it back in Jan and I can start flying legally again.

I got my notice to re-register, and it came in a week! This month. I didn't even read it but I thought it was <br />still 5 years??

That's what I thought to Frank but you know the FAA they changed it on us and if you didn't get the message you could get caught with your Searey illegal to fly and lose your N-number.
