Dueling banjo bolts, Tim! Deliver us from the Corps of Engineers!<br /><br />That's a lotta pollen!<br /><br />Er, well, the movie 'Deliverance' made the river famous, if not the entire lake. I seem to recall that it's legal to land on the lake now. If so, maybe it's safe to 'fess up: I've done more than one splash-and-go there. It's a beautiful body of water.

Funny Don. The corps has not (to my knowledge) made a final decision on seaplane ops on Lanier. Troy Wheeler, SPA field guy, is working on it and making some progress. As you know, the wheels of governmental progress turn slowly. Is that an oxymoron?

It would be an oxymoron Tim if the wheels turned forward slowly. As for the <br />Corpse of Engineers, I don't think it applies. Maybe a new thread needed just for <br />them.
