Nice! Wondering did you purchase the plane before your start of training?

Yes. During my sport pilot training I researched the best LSA for big pilots. The SeaRey was identified as having a lot of
room and I've always liked amphibs. Subsequently, I spotted an 07 for sale in Lewiston, ID and I mentioned it to my CFI.
Turns out he liked amphibs too, so we did a cross country to check her out. Four of us amphib fans bought her. Two CFI partners
obtained their seaplane instructor certification and then trained me. I know,
TMI!

Never enough info about experiences is enough.. Haven't been up in one yet but know I will enjoy the amphibian flying. Just feel I
should invest in the training first before purchase but would hate to see a good plane for sale get away.

Phone the Progressive Aerodyne factory, just north of Orlando, and schedule a demo flight. Or look for Searey owners near Jax.      Attachments:

Well done, Mark! Or more accurately, well begun. You have many Searey Adventures ahead of you.

Congratulations, Mark. Look into joining the Searey Tech Site for more information on Seareys than you can digest a
lifetime. And WUFF - Wheels Up For Flying

Congratulations Mark. My friend and I just bought N177CX and are training at Mid Florida X55. Unfortunately it's been really
windy with crosswinds approaching limits and that's the way it looks for 5 days. Got a cool video yesterday and will be posting
it.

Harold and Mark, you guys don't seem to be members of STS, the Searey Technical Site. That's where the action is for Searey building, repair, and maintenance; safety; and other such stuff. It's open to every Searey owner and builder (and no one else). To get in, just click on the "Help" link at the top of this page and fill in the blanks. In the Question box, just enter your kit number (serial number) and say you'd like access to STS. In a day or so you'll get email from STS with your login info.

Congrats Mark! Neat paint scheme. It's nice to have a big river nearby like the Columbia. Wishing you many fun adventures.
