Description:
What a day! Dennis (The Man) Scearce shepherded me to Lincolnton
(asphalt) and Laney's (grass) and of course I ended the trip with
several water landings. Interminable handled all with aplomb. Me,
not so much. Still a little squarely on asphalt, as I was in training,
but the grass was much better. Six hours on the Hobbs and waiting
for the weather to clear so I can do it all again.

You got your land legs! Congratulations again, Chuck. Now you're a fully-fledged Searey pilot--sea and land. (Don't get cocky, though. There's still pax, x-c, and many other Adventures.) Nice looking Searey, by the way.

Chuck can fly the plane. Landed at KIPJ and N92 like a pro. We were going to see Shannon at LIA but it rained all day yesterday and winds were not friendly today.
