The water level is starting to recede from its hurricane highs. Now Puzzle Lake on the St. Johns River is more like it's normal size.

Why do they call it rush hour when clearly there is no rushing....at least for these cars that came to a sudden, unscheduled stop. Sometimes it's better to be in the air going home than being on the ground wishing you anywhere else.

And it's great to be on the water at home when the light is sliping away.

No better place to watch the stars come out than floating on home water.

The last time I was in Lake Harney I saw so many gators in it that it prompted me to take it off my list. Maybe I was too hasty? What is your home lake Dan?

There were plenty of gators, Bill, but I decided they would be too cold to be in a biting mood (on the other hand, how do they make it through the winter if they don't eat...hmmmm). I live across town on Lake Harris where the gators are domesticated.

No successful photo mission proceeds without adequate fuel for the participants. This one tanked up at Laughlin Lake.
