Description: This squadron of amphibians seems to prefer parking in the water than on shore, in the open air. The air temp is 17º Farenheit in Virginia; but the amphibs are Canadian, so for them it's -8º Celsius. The water is warmer, despite the floating ice closer to shore.

Sky condition: clear, visibility at least as far as the power line 6.5 sm to the east.
Date Taken: 2017-12-28
Place Taken: The Taj Mahouse, in Shangri-La-di-da On the James, Virginia

I always wondered where they went after a summer of greasing my grass strip.

These guys are immigrants, not transients. They're citizens, or at least have green cards. But they grease the grass here, too.
