Description: The FAA wanted to officially shorten the published length of 15/33 at
Everglades City, because there is vitally no overrun. Sure looks like
ALOT of overrun for a Searey!

    They certainly are confused, Dennis! They painted ""15"" on one end and ""33"" on the other end...and it's the same piece of asphalt!??

    Someone educate me...isn't a runway the length of the pavement unless there is a displaced threshold? If there are tall
trees or mountains at one end, that is published... Is the paved length less than the published 2400'?
