Description: The warm outflow from the power plant along the Caloosahatchee
River warms the area which the Manatee love (I'm sure some feeding
is going on also). Actually, the old oil fired plant emitted much
warmer water. When FPL switched to natural gas, the plant had to
add heat to the water to satisfy the spoiled Manatee. We all love
heated swimming pools!
