Time to put on the skis, Dennis. Or when the snow gets really deep, just scoot along on the hull.

Hard to see a worse scene than snow on an airplane (or a boat). Sorry Dennis.

Our first snowfall last night in Maine. Nov. 23, that ain't bad and we have nothing to complain about. Could have had snow two months ago (and have in previous years). Thank you El Nino.

How do you put xmas lights on a palm tree? (Actually, we tried that in Nigeria one year, but it looked really silly.)

Well, Prof, we often decorate a branch from ""an old Gum Tree"" (well known song down here) or decorate a dead branch which shows the result of the heat. Then again some of us actually decorate a small Pine tree. The Boy Scouts ALWAYS sell them to raise money. However, who cares? we spend the whole time at the beach or even better flying seareys.

We feel bad for you. Your summer coincides with the earth being closest to the sun in its orbit. You must really roast down there.

Mind you, we have the strangest weather at times. In the last 2 weeks we have had a huge low pressure storm at 15*C and hail 6"" deep on the ground with winds up to 40mph to 35*C today which is close to 100*F. Now tomorrow is going to be even above 100*F in some parts in this area alone.

Jim, you mean 15°C? (hint hold ""ALT"" and press ""2"" ""4"" ""8"" which is the ascii code for the ° sign)

Or bring up Word, click on insert, symbols, select the °, highlight it, right click and select copy, then come back SnD, put cursor in right place and right click, select Paste. Piece of cake. Thanks Jeff for the easier way!!

Or on any iOS device, hold 0 and slide sideways to the º that appears as an option. (Couldn't get me to go back to Windwoes for anything.)
