Description: On the way to nowhere, I stopped by Chuck's today. I do that occasionally to keep him motivated to finish his bird. He starts his hanger, located just to the left of this picture in Sept. Lake Norman is about 1.5' below normal for this time of year, due to the lack of rain. I couldn't get on his ramp so thought I'd be cool and drive it up on his ""beach"". Trouble is, Lake Norman doesn't have beach - it has gooey red mud about 8"" deep so this is as far as I got. Luckily Sammie was about to power out of this goo when it came time to leave.

    You guys are 1.5' LOW!?!? Holy cow, every dock on our lake was two feet under water a couple of
weeks ago!
my street had a foot of standing water at the crown for a couple of days. Attached picture was me
