Description: This grainy shot through a dirty window is all I got today of Lindsay and Dave (Buck was off to the left) as we were about to depart the Williamsburg VA Airport, after a hearty lunch and before flying in trail at low level up the James. Along the way we got a call from Bill Fosdick (ex-SeaRey owner), who was suffering 5,000 feet above us in a landplane because his Legend Cub floatplane was down for repairs. I was low on fuel and broke off to FCI; the others flew another hour or so, up and down the Pamunky and Mataponi Rivers before landing at their respective fields just as the sun was going down. It was altogether a lovely day.
