Description: Just after T/O from yesterday's AOPA Fly-in, I got TIS alert of an acft coming up behind & 400 ft below me. As it pass me, I had the joy of seeing the B-17 in flight up close 7 personal. I snapped this shot. I guess this how it would have looked to a German fighter in WW2.

Eric, there will be a B-17, a B-24, and a P-51C at KFCI this coming Saturday and Sunday.

    Cool!

About ten years ago I was landing at KFCI--entered downwind just as a B-17 was turning base. It almost gave me chills to say over the radio, ""Number two to land after the B-17.""
