Well, this certainly was a nail biting game, but we're glad the Steelers came through!

The Pittsburgh Steelers.........Super Bowl Champions...Congratulations!!

seattle got totally ripped off !!! horrible calls against them, and pittsburg didn't deserve to win, even though I was cheering for them. the bottom line SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!

Bruce Bennett - Feb 06,2006 Viewers | Reply
Dave, I emphatically do not agree that Pittsburgh did not deserve to win. Calls were made against both teams, if you remember the very first quarter 2 or 3 calls were made against Pittsburgh. To say that Pittsburgh did not deserve to win sounds like you were cheering for Pittsburgh, but were secretly hoping that Seattle would win. They both played a very good game, but Pittsburgh had the upper hand throughout the rest of the game. JB

judy, I just wanted a good fair game. pittsburg deserved to win because of the flea flicker play to heinze ward. everyone has seen it but nobody can stop it. seattle's coaching decisions were not very good throughout the game, however that first called back td was bad, and the fantom holding call after seattle threw the ball down to the 1 yd line stunk. even still they had chances but couldn't finish and the steelers did. I feel sorry for hassleback, lots of dropped passes. the bad thing is that i have to listen to my brother brag about the steel curtain for a full year!

I guess the main thing we all have to remember is that we were not there referering. The refererees have the final say, they have the means to check out all the plays, first hand. Are you saying that you think the game was fixed??? JB

Dave Lima - Feb 06,2006 Viewers | Reply
fixed? never, too many people involved to do that. this will be a hard pill for the seahawks to swallow but then again , there's always next year.

Bruce Bennett - Feb 06,2006 Viewers | Reply
Dave, that's right. The Steelers had to swallow that pill last year when the Patriots won. When the team your cheering for loses at the Super Bowl, you always say......there's always next year!! JB

Steelers Smheelers, I got to see an airshow. I work for a mobile television company and I’ve been sitting in
my tv truck parked on the river here in Detroit for the last 14 days bringing you ESPN live from the
Rennaissance Center. There is a 30 mile No Fly Zone around Detroit and Windsor and for the last three
days I’ve been treated to an airshow that has included everything from parades of Coast Guard helicopters
to fighter jets, from Zodiac boats with machine guns whizzing up the Detroit River to low flybys that shake
the whole TV compound. We have had more security than I’ve ever seen before, even the World Series in
Chicago didn’t compare to this. Detroit was completely locked down and for someone who has to work
here, that was a very good feeling, I must say. And the show went off without a hitch, except for Mick’s
audio at halftime.

Steelers, whatever, that was not the show, it was the airshow that got me going. It was heart pounding
excitement, especially at night when they would fly low with all of their floodlights on, it looked like daytime.

Steve DiGiacomo

Condoleeza Rice stopped by for about half an hour yesterday before the game and the Coast Guard
cutters and helicopters simply hovered and watched over her for the entire time. It was awesome! The sky
was full over the Renaissance Center. That she simply surprised us with a visit should emphasize the level
of security we had during this event. I'm glad to know we have this much protection.

Steve DiGiacomo
Steve, that is very interesting! There is a whole other angle to having these huge events. It is very good that we have such great homeland security.......all due to 9/11. So I take it you weren't rooting for either team? JB

Steve DiGiacomo - Feb 06,2006 Viewers | Reply
Sir, I don't have time to root. I'm the emergency guy. When something breaks, they yell 'Maintenance' and
I spring into high gear. That's when I use my All Access pass to walk right through the stadium to
whereever I need to go, be it the sidelines or the announce booth, locker rooms or whereever. That's when
I noticed the changes in the guard, so to speak. Before, I'd just had to say, 'American Television Coming
Through!' and people would let me pass. Now, they want credentials, two forms of ID and a note from my
mom. It's ok though because I've laminated the note from my mom.

There must be a base near one of our NASCAR gigs because they had the flyover include a B-2 and some
stealth fighters once. They were so quiet until just overhead, then they shook the concrete foundation. It
was awesome. I couldn't imagine flying in one of those.

What I've noticed more is the difference in security at Int'l airports. Once I got wrapped up in a test of the
system, a decoy sauntered up to me in line and she hung out with me until we got to the scanner, then she
put her purse through and what I didn't know was that she had a 9mm in it. Well, sirens went off, what I
thought was a wall opened up and 12 armed soldiers came out and grabbed her by the throat and carried
her away. She was a test for the system, I happened to be her cover story. It was quite an experience.

Feel safe folks, feel VERY, VERY safe. I fly millions of miles on commercial airlines and by now, I am able to
tell you with great accuracy who is the marshall on the plane, no matter how incognito he or she thinks they
are being. Look for the steely eyes, the questioning look and of course the bulge from their weapon.

Life is very different since 9/11. I'm ok with that. In my opinion, we were being WAY too slack before. And
look how it bit us in the...

Steve DiGiacomo
Also, been to Charlotte and Daytona but my heart belongs to good old southern dirt track racing. Nothing like that red clay on a steamy July night...
