Don,

Thanks for this post. It was a nice stop on a recent trip to NC. Not sure you could taxi up the boat ramp, but I had some carry cans. Good Hospitality.

Bill, I've been up that ramp three times so far, using the right side going up. It's plenty wide enough, but stay in the middle to be sure that a wheel doesn't run off the edge. Thanks for your additions to the list!

I stopped by Dutchman's Creek Marina on April 14, 2012. Unfortunately, the place was closed - out of business. I was very sad as this was a most exclent fuel stop for Seareys. I was doubly sad because I was OUT OF FUEL when I arrived.

Aw, rats. I liked that place a lot. But thanks for the update, Jeff. Did you go to Camden?

I was truely OUT OF GAS! I wasn't flying anywhere. I had logged 3 hours on my 18 gallon (15 useable) tank due to excessive head winds. I got a guy fishing to give me a ride to the nearest gas station - 8 miles away. Fortunately they also had a 5 gallon gas can for sale as well.

    Yikes!

I think it was under new management when we met Folsom for lunch there. Didn't survive the recession, I guess.

Kevin D'Angelo said he stopped there for fuel yesterday. Sounds like they are again open for Searey business!!

The new owners put some money into the place and built a patio deck for eating. food was good and fast. The local Sheriff came up to me when I was at the pumps and I thought he was going to give me a hard time but came over to admire the shark

Kevin, Just curious: Why were you so far west? Don't you normally come up and down the coast?
