    Or don't do it when someone's watching, unless you think you might need a rescue!<br /><br />Now, if that guy would have been in a Searey, he would have been legal. After all, we are considered to be a boat when on the water.

    Maybe so Dennis, but under many bridges there are speed limits for boats...but at least they are not enforced by the FAA

    What's going on?!!! I leave Chico,CA for Arlington,WA(NW EAA Fly-in) and the next day all hell breaks loose. There was a C-182 that went down also, on Monday, who was out of my home field(o37). The worst part is the pilot who pulled the bridge stunt was my CFII. I told him today that I did not appreciate him making the public aware of airplane operations on the river.
