Bruno,
I breifly saw the SeaMax at Sebring 2007 attached. As I recall they were talking $120K (assembled) or thereabouts, but at that time (this Spring) none had yet been sold to US owners. Attachments:

That looks a lot like a Seabee to me, Bruno.
Yes I had a real good look at one and they are a very nice design and well built but pricey... $150K USD finished. It's a fabric wing, carbon body and Rotax is the PP. They are selling as SLSA in the US, or at least they are hoping to. I do not know if they will be selling the kit form.

I know it's a Seamax, but it sure resembles a Seebee from this angle, landing gear excepted. Looks roomy.

I saw one at SNF this past spring. It's about the same size as a Corsario. Had the tightest wing fabric I've ever seen on any airplane and a nose gear door that resembled a submarine's diving plane.

HU life is hazardous. My instructor is the same as the seamax owner and my instructor after having taxied with me on water at first was very nervous when I made a 180 deg. turn at 25 mph and made S 's after without any problem of purposing.

He was so pleased with the Searey, its fun to have an others comments specially an instructor. He told me that the Sea max is difficult to taxi with it because its unstable and have a tendency to tango. And in flight he always need to correct his trajectory with rudders.

The cockpit is very very warm and they need to cover it real fast when its sunny because the panel started to melt on a corner. The exit of the cockpit is similar to the seawind so forget about taxiing with it opened.

I give you this info's because I think its important to know and compare with other so this way we know that we are still on the good road....

For myself my Searey is very very fun and secure to fly and I'm still happy with my decision.

Bruno
