Here's another water landing video, with the camera in the same general location as the last time, but about 4 inches higher--above the water line in displacement mode. The next one will be from the vertical stab (if it works). (5 MB)

Very nice Don. I counted the takeoff run to be about 12-13 seconds. Is this about typical?

Frank, normally I get up in about 8 seconds with the 914. But this time I had a hefty passenger, a lot of fuel, and the prop was pitched for cruise, turning 5600 rpm on takeoff.
