When that B-36 first begins to taxi, it makes a right turn, but the rudder is deflected to the left. Why?

Wow! Well done, Eric! Keep that up and we'll promote you to E2. I did know that there was a separate ground steering system, but had no idea it was that complex. So on final, you not only have to be sure the gear is down, but remember to depressurize the nosewheel strut, as well. No wonder that copilot looks so grumpy when reading the checklist.

Eric, I bet there's a bunch of young folk out there wondering 'who's June Allyson'? <br /><br />Indeed, I'm surprised you do!<br /><br />That was a great movie, and I rewatched it again about 6 months ago. Still great.
