Gordon Gecko nests in my plane

Unaware of the future pain

I take off, he holds on tight

Gripping the wing with all his might

Not sure why he holds his grip

But never daring let his grip slip

Ney, with a bump, he is dead

With thoughts of a prop running through his head

Never would I know the mishap of his skull

Had I not found it mashed against my hull

The prop continued merrily on its way

Unaware it had ended little Gordon’s day

Inflight was a small sideways kick

After, a smeared prop, too small to be a nick

So little friends again I remind you

Don’t build your nest in the Gecko Ginsu

Oo! How juicy, Ken! I especially like the way 'With thoughts of a prop running through his head' does double duty.
Geckos can hold onto almost anything, Ken. In Nigeria we used to see them come to grips with praying mantises. They were about evenly matched, but otherwise so different that it was always interesting to see if one could eat the other. Except that it was a little less interesting when they came to grips on the ceiling over the bed in the middle of the night.

PETA will surely challenge your certificate for not making an immediate emergency landing to safely remove your passenger; they will claim you failed to provide adequate protection against stowaways, adjust your weight and balance, and allowed something to be discharged in flight.<!-- >'">
' or > missing in user HTML. I tell the PETA folks how much I love animals. Grilled, fried, raw, baked or whatever. When they ask me if they can eat my pet dog, I say only if they share.

Actually, I just came back from the Tampa FAA office. Had to re-sign the paperwork for my plane as the DAR never sent it to Oklahoma and when I brought them my copy, they said it was all screwed up. They were nice about it and so was I. I figured playing nice is better than pissing about them loosing my paperwork 2 years ago and not even knowing it.

May be down your way with the SR next week... weather permitting. If you're in town, maybe we can hook up for some photo shoots.
