John Dunlop is selling one. He has it advertised on this site. Go to reviews and look at For Sale Special Searey Items.

With a couple domes on either side of the turtle deck, it snaps on in seconds.

Ha! Never disrespect the turtle! You don't need no stinkin' dome holes (some of us just let the flap fly free, unless you just like the button down, pocket protector look, Dennis.....oh, I forgot...you are an engineer).

Dan, I couldn’t agree with you more. But when I had to become a contortionist to put the cover on, I decided a little TD abuse was warranted. So I caved.

Now that's getting a bit personal.
As an engineer, I find it psychologically comforting to have the cover on and I can accept the concept of not tightening the straps.
Have you seen the number of flies in Dennis' & Johns' hanger? Maybe another 'fly - lead' is too much for him to handle, resulting in the defiling of the turtle deck....Just a theory.

Hey............ quit insulting engineers as I are one, too.
Two engineers met, one riding a new bike. The friend asked where he got it. He replied, 'This gorgeous girl came riding up to me, stopped and laid the bike down, took off all her clothes and put them down, then threw her arms up and said 'Take whatever you want'. The friend replied, 'Well, I think you made the right choice. I doubt if her clothes would have fit you.'

Arguing with an Engineer is like wrestling with a pig, everyone gets dirty and the pig just loves it.

I know it has been some time since this was asked, but Is John Dunlop still making
covers? I have thoroughly searched the site, but I must be missing it.

Currently, I can find that:
-Searey is selling a Canopy Cover for $307
-Bruce's Custom Covers is selling one for $540

Does anyone have any feedback of the different covers available? If anyone happens
to have one they are selling, I would be interested in that as well. I am currently looking
for a Canopy and/or Engine covers.

John Dunlop still has canopy covers listed for US $235 in February. I have one and they are very nice. Much nicer than the PA cover (older - not sure what they sell now). John's engine cover is US $139.
He list all sorts of goodies on the Searey Tech Site (STS), which you should definitely be on if you own a Searey. His email is: Canadian Light Amphibians (seareycanada@gmail.com)
Dennis & Tom,

Thanks alot! That looks to be the best deal out there, and glad to hear you are happy
with the cover! I will likely place an order.

I am on the Technical Site, but this My Family 'forum' is pretty terrible to search
through. I spent an hour searching both this and STS last night and came up empty
handed. I guess I just haven't learned the tricks yet.

Thanks again,
Crew

I understand. John usually has his goodies posted recent enough where they are not hard to find. I ended up selecting 'members' then looked for John's name, then found his post about his wares. It's worth the effort. You'll like the cover. He even offers it with or without snaps. I opted for the non-snap version as I couldn't bring myself to drill any more holes in my plane.
