 A hard core of Georgian Bay Splashers & Dashers would like to invite our cousins to join us in southern Ontario for a long weekend of summer SeaRey fun. Based out of Midland Huronia Airport CYEE, we will have tie-downs, hotel accommodation and great restaurants waiting for you. Just say you’re coming! Suggested Dates: August 10-13 , August 17-20 or possibly mid-week right after AirVenture July 30- August 2. Let me know your thoughts.. jdunlop1943@gmail.com

I'm in for some of the most scenic flying in the north, The first two dates work for me as my <br />son is getting married Sept 1 and might cause some marital problems if cutting out too <br />close to the wedding.

I will try hard again this year John. Unfortunately, I won't get my schedule till mid July, so I <br />have no preference. Do you know of any Dr's that would swap a ride in a SeaRey for a Dr's <br />note?

OK, our good friend, Gerhard Reichers, is now going to make the trek again from Germany. His arrival and departure dates make an August 10-13 Gaggle optimum and so you can take that period to the bank.<br /><br />If you have any expectation of attending please send me an email so that I can begin negotiating hotel rates. This will be our sixth Georgian Gaggle! And getting into Canada is a snap! (of course you may lose your citizenship getting home

Hello Georgian Gagglers,<p>I have initially booked 6 rooms at the “Super 8” in Midland, Ontario.<br>The dates are: arrival August 9, depart August 13.<p>You can adjust the dates and change to one queen with pullout couch when you firm up with the hotel prior to arrival.<br>The rooms are currently allocated to Rudy, Kevin, Dennis, Lee, Gerhard, and me. If you are not allocated, think you may come and want a room, let me know. Hey Georgian Gagglers!<br /><br />Dennis and I have completed our annuals (finally!) and wet our hulls in Belwood Lake. Lee, is also operational and Kevin already has booked his room at the Super 8.<br /><br />When you are certain you are coming just call the Hotel 705-526-8288 and ask for John Dunlop's reserved rooms. You should grab a room and put it on your credit card. (There are now zero extra rooms available but we could double up if additional wish to com..)

Wow, only four weeks to get plans laid for attending the Georgian Gaggle (where has the time gone?!)<br />Anyone wishing to secure a room, now is the time to call the hotel!<br />The weather up here has been totally sunny!<br />(I will also move my aircraft to CYEE from August 3 until August 17.)<br />

This composite photo is posed as a Georgian Gaggle enticement.<br>No, the gentle Santa (Tony) with CFPTQ is not the author but a Wasaga Beach Friend..<p>We are at our condo's "Beach House" near the mouth of the Nottawasaga River into Georgian Bay. (When you drop in by SeaRey I'm only three minutes away.) <p>The last two photos were taken at Bone Island (a favorite SeaRey picnic stop) and Saturday's Owen Sound Fly-in.. Yep, we can even use the one at the Beach House (visible in the background.) BUT<p>a. Wasaga Beach can have some wicked waves with a northwest wind.<p>b. There is room for perhaps three aircraft at the Beach House. (Perhaps we can get one more up on the sand.)<p>c.
